Carmenita Williams is a prophetic intercessor and psalmist born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Carmenita is called to lead others deeper in God through authentic worship, prophetic sound, and intercessory travail. Raised in a musically rich family rooted in both worship and traditional quartet gospel, she has been singing since the age of three, stewarding a sound that ushers atmospheres into the tangible presence of God.
Carmenita holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business along with extensive studies in Early Childhood Education and Social Work, and is certified in Early Childhood Education.
In her early twenties, Carmenita came into the revelation, through the guidance of her father, that what she once perceived as a burden was in fact the prophetic gifting of an intercessor and seer. This awakening ignited her lifelong pursuit to continually journey deeper in God, unlocking the fullness of what He has placed within her.
For over ten years, Carmenita has labored with individuals in the place of prayer, interceding for breakthrough, deliverance, and alignment with the will of God. She finds it joy to stand in the gap for those who are actively seeking freedom, and to witness firsthand the transforming fire of Holy Spirit.
Carmenita’s ministry in music has allowed her to minister alongside influential worship leaders and artists within both contemporary Christian and gospel communities. Yet able stages and platforms, her greatest honor is cultivating atmospheres where Jesus is glorified, heaven invades earth, and people are drawn deeper in God.
Her life’s declaration is simple: “May my life forever be an altar where Jesus is glorified and His will is revealed.”
Carmenita is married to the love of her life, Fred T. Williams, and together they share a blended family of five children.
