NIGERIA | SEPTEMBER 2026
Deeper In God Inc., a global prophetic prayer, teaching, and worship ministry founded and led by Pastor Fred T. Williams and Carmenita Williams, is pleased to announce the official appointment of Pastor Victor Ekechi as National Director of Prayer for Nigeria, effective September 2026.
This appointment marks another significant step in Deeper In God’s continued expansion throughout Nigeria and reinforces the ministry’s commitment to establishing prayer as the foundation of its leadership, outreach, discipleship, and Kingdom advancement initiatives.
As National Director of Prayer, Pastor Ekechi will provide spiritual leadership and strategic oversight for Deeper In God’s national prayer and intercession initiatives. His responsibilities will include developing and strengthening prayer teams across state and city hubs, mentoring emerging intercessors and prayer leaders, coordinating national prayer and fasting initiatives, and mobilizing intercessory support for crusades, conferences, leadership gatherings, and ministry expansion efforts.
Working in collaboration with Deeper In God’s national, state, and hub leadership, Pastor Ekechi will also help establish consistent standards for prayer, consecration, spiritual discernment, and intercession throughout the ministry’s growing network in Nigeria.
A Leader Committed to Prayer, Revival, and Spiritual Transformation
Pastor Victor Ekechi is a prophetic evangelist, pastor, and teacher whose ministry emphasizes prayer, healing, deliverance, revival, and the uncompromising proclamation of God’s Word.
He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Fire of Revival Global Network, headquartered in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he leads a global online prayer outreach dedicated to bringing spiritual light, hope, and transformation to individuals and communities through the power of prayer.
His ministry reflects a commitment to raising believers who understand the necessity of prayer, the authority of Scripture, and the importance of maintaining an active relationship with God.
Pastor Ekechi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Mathematics from the University of Benin. Throughout his ministry journey, he has served in several leadership and administrative capacities, including Associate Pastor, Resident Pastor, Administrator, Accountant, and Music Director.
These experiences have helped shape his approach to ministry, combining spiritual leadership with organizational discipline, accountability, and a commitment to serving the Body of Christ.
He is married to Dr. Blessing Ekechi, and together they are blessed with three children.
Strengthening the Altar Across Nigeria
The appointment comes as Deeper In God continues to establish and strengthen its leadership structure throughout Nigeria, with a growing emphasis on developing spiritually mature believers, equipping local churches, and advancing the Gospel through prayer, teaching, worship, and evangelism.
For Deeper In God, prayer is not simply another ministry department. It is central to the organization’s identity and mission.
Under Pastor Ekechi’s leadership, the national prayer initiative will focus on strengthening intercessory networks, cultivating disciplined prayer communities, equipping emerging prayer leaders, and ensuring that the ministry’s continued growth remains rooted in spiritual formation and dependence upon God.
The appointment also supports Deeper In God’s global mission:
Training Believers. Strengthening Churches. Impacting Cities.
Through intentional leadership development, coordinated prayer initiatives, and collaboration across its growing network of hubs, Deeper In God seeks to cultivate a sustainable prayer movement capable of serving churches, communities, and cities throughout Nigeria.
A New Season of National Leadership
Pastor Fred T. Williams, Global President of Deeper In God Inc., and Psalmist Carmenita Williams, Global Vice President, welcome Pastor Ekechi into this national leadership assignment as the organization continues strengthening its leadership infrastructure and expanding its ministry presence across Africa.
His appointment reflects Deeper In God’s commitment to placing spiritually grounded, capable, and accountable leaders in positions that support the ministry’s long-term mission.
As Pastor Ekechi assumes his responsibilities, he will work alongside the ministry’s established leadership to help build a unified national prayer network that supports the spiritual health, effectiveness, and continued growth of Deeper In God throughout Nigeria.
The vision is clear: As the territory expands, the altar must remain strong.
